Elena Pavlova, the founder and the owner of Vabank kennel, is born 1974. Outside of the dogworld, she is a recognized SF&F translator in Bulgaria, and one of the best Bulgarian science-fiction and fantasy writers. In 2004 she was the official choice of Bulgaria for the Eurcon Writer of the year's award.
As a writer, Elena started her carreer winning three consequential awards for short stories when only 14 years old (1988, 1989 and 1990 respectively), and since then had won many more short stories awards. Her works had been published in 6Bulgarian antologies.

About us

Since 1996 to 1998 Elena have writen 24 game-books, winning awards also in this genre - Gamebook writer of 1998, Best Game book 1998 (Dragons, ahead!)
Her first novel - Razor Ballad had been published1996, followed by the sequel Vulture's Grasp; the third part of the Fire Lodge series had been writen but never published - The New Jesus. All these books had been horror&fiction.
In 1997 had been publshed Elena's novel Star Wonderers as a part of the gamebook series Dead Stars.
In 2001 had been published yet another novel, this time pure science fiction - Nomad: the Very Inferno, based on the gamebook series Nomad, and the sequel (Nomad: Angels of Death) is almost ready for publication.
The biggest score of Elena are the series Bloodshedders' Chronicles, fantasy books, of which is published The heart OffThe Wanderer Yonder, and the second book - Swordtaker's Shades Of Darkness will be published in 2005. The Wanderer is the Bulgarian bestselling SF&F book ever.
